Liebe Kommilitonen,
das Jahr neigt sich dem Ende, aber es gibt noch einige Neuigkeiten.
SPIELEABEND

Heute findet ab 18.30 Uhr wieder ein Spieleabend statt. Es gibt Glühwein
und Lebkuchen für alle und vielleicht schaut ja auch der Weihnachtsmann
vorbei. Wir freuen uns auf euren Besuch und wünschen viel Spaß!

VOLLEYBALLTURNIER

Am 24.01.2015 findet der Fakultätencup statt, zu dem alle Fakultäten
eingeladen sind, eine Volleyballmannschaft zu stellen. Der
Anmeldeschluss ist am 20.01.2015 um 20:00 Uhr.

POSITION GEGEN PEGIDA
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aufgrund des jüngsten Zulaufes zu den PEGIDA-Demonstrationen und der
Drohungen gegenüber unseren Kommilitonen und Freund, Eric Hattke, möchte
der FSR Informatik seine Position in dieser Sache klarstellen:
Wir wollen ein weltoffenes Dresden, in dem Herkunft und Religion keine
Einschränkungen sind. Für das Funktionieren der Fakultät Informatik ist
interkulturelle Kommunikation und Toleranz ein essentieller Bestandteil,
den wir nicht aufgeben dürfen. Deshalb rufen wir dazu auf, gegen
Rassismus und Diskriminierung einzustehen und Solidarität mit Eric zu
zeigen.

SCHACHTURNIER
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bereits zu Beginn des neuen Jahres, am 21.01.2015, findet wieder ein
Schachturnier gemeinsam mit den Mathematikern statt. Beginn ist um 18.00
Uhr, der Raum im Willersbau wird noch rechtzeitig bekanntgegeben. Alle
sind recht herzlich eingeladen, ihr Können unter Beweis zu stellen.

GREMIENARBEIT
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Auch in dieser Legislaturperiode sind wieder verschiedene Gremien zu
besetzen. Wir suchen für die Studienkommissionen der
Lehramtsstudiengänge sowie der Masterstudiengänge CSE und CL (und des
Ergänzungsstudiengangs Softwaretechnologie) noch Vertreter. Wer
Interesse daran hat, sich in einer dieser Kommissionen zu engagieren,
soll sich bitte bei uns melden.

Today the next games night takes place. We hope you are able to join us
at 6:30 pm. Have a good time with hot wine and gingerbread! Maybe Santa
Claus joins too.

VOLLEYBALLTOURNAMENT

On 24.01.2015 the faculty cup takes place, where all faculties of the
university are invited to join with a team for a volleyball match. You
can register your teams until 20.01.2015 at 8 pm.

STATEMENT AGAINST PEGIDA
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Because of the latest feedback for the PEGIDA-demonstrations and the
threat against our fellow student and friend, Eric Hattke, we as the
student representatives of the faculty of computer science would like to
take position in this issue:
We want a Dresden that is open to the world, where origin and religion
are no restrictions. Intercultural communication and tolerance is an
essential part of our faculty. That is why we appeal to everyone to
stand up against racism and discrimination and to show solidarity with Eric.

CHESS TOURNAMENT
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the beginning of the New Year our next chess tournament together with
the faculty of mathematics takes place. You are invited to show your
abilities in this great game at the 21st of January at 6 pm. The room
will be announced in time.

WORK IN COMMITEES
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can join in and be part of a committee. This year we need
representatives for the study committees of the teacher education
studies and the master studies in CSE and CL (and SWT). If you would
like to engage in such work, contact us.
