SPIELEABEND

Am 29.01.2015 ab 18.30 Uhr findet wieder der Spieleabend statt. Wir

CRYPTOPARTY
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wir organisieren am 22.01.2015 ab 16:40 an der Fakultät Informatik
(APB/E007) eine Cryptoparty zum Thema GPG.
Dabei wird in Kurzvorträgen auf den Einsatz der Technologie sowie die
Keygenerierung eingegangen. Im Anschluss habt ihr die Möglichkeit für
den Austausch und das Signieren von Schlüsseln mit den Anwesenden (denkt
an euren Personalausweis).
Wer Interesse daran hat, sollte sich bitte in das Dudle [0] eintragen,
damit wir einen Überblick über die ungefähre Teilnehmerzahl haben.

SCHACHTURNIER

Wir wollen nochmal auf das Turnier am 21.01.2015 um 18 Uhr im Willersbau
hinweisen. Anmeldungen sind für alle Interessierten mit einer Mail an

Alle sind recht herzlich eingeladen, ihr Können unter Beweis zu stellen.

EMBEDDED WORLD

Am 26.02.2015 ist auf der EMBEDDED WORLD in Nürnberg der STUDENT DAY.
Thema der Messe wird „Das unvermeidliche Ende des Internets" sein.
Für jede Hochschule besteht die Möglichkeit, Tickets und je nach
Teilnehmerzahl auch einen Shuttlebus gestellt zu bekommen. Wer Interesse
hat, daran teilzunehmen, soll sich bis spätestens Montag, den 15.01. um
12.00 Uhr mit einer Mail an franz(a)ifsr.de melden. Die Teilnahme ist
verbindlich.

FÜR DRESDEN, FÜR SACHSEN
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aufgrund der jüngsten Ereignisse in Dresden hat unser Rektor, Prof. Hans
Müller-Steinhagen, gemeinsam mit der Oberbürgermeisterin der Stadt
Dresden, Helma Orosz, und dem Ministerpräsident des Freistaates Sachsen,
Stanislaw Tillich, zu einem weit sichtbaren und nachhaltigen Zeichen
"Für Dresden, für Sachsen - für Weltoffenheit, Mitmenschlichkeit und
Dialog im Miteinander" aufgerufen. An diesem Samstag, den 10.01.2015, um
15 Uhr treffen sich alle, die dieses Bild von Dresden repräsentieren
wollen, vor der Frauenkirche.

We are going to organize a Cryptoparty on the topic of GPG on the
22.01.2015 at 4.40 pm in the faculty of computer science (APB/E007).
The use of the technology and the generating of keys is explained in
short talks. Afterwards you have the possibility to exchange and sign
keys with the other participants (don`t forget your ID).
If you are interested in the topic, please register in the dudle [0], so
we have an overview of the number of participants.

We want to remind you about the tournament, which takes places on

EMBEDDED WORLD

On the 26.02.2015 the STUDENT DAY at the congress EMBEDDED WORLD in
Nürnberg takes places. The topic is "The inevitable end of the
internet".
Every university has the possibility to get free tickets and with enough
participants also a shuttle bus. If you are interested, you can write a
mail to franz(a)ifsr.de until monday, 15.01., 12 o`clock. The registration
is binding.

FOR DRESDEN, FOR SAXONY

Because of the recent events in Dresden our Rector Prof. Hans
Müller-Steinhagen together with the Mayor of Dresden Helma Orosz and the
Prime Minister of the Free State of Saxony Stanislaw Tillich called out
to set a strong and lasting example "For Dresden, for Saxony - for
cosmopolitanism, humanity and joint dialogue". On this saturday the
10.01.2015 at 3 pm all people who want to represent this image of
Dresden will come together at the Frauenkirche.

Hallo liebe Studierende,

TL;DR:
- iFSR Sitzung wegen Aktion am Donnerstag den 08.01. 18:30 Uhr

- iFSR unterstützt StuRa und Bündnis "Dresden für Alle"

Soli-Konzerte am 09.01., 16.01. und 17.01.[6]

Zur letzten Demonstration am 22.12.2014 haben sich wieder 17500
Unterstützer PEGIDAs versammelt, wieder mehr als die vorhergehende
Woche. 4500 Gegendemonstranten haben sich ihnen entgegen gestellt[1].
Mit dem StuRa und dem, eigens anlässlich der offenkundig
ausländerfeindlichen Stimmung in Dresden, gegründeten Bündnis "Dresden
für alle"[2] sprechen wir uns für ein weltoffenes Dresden aus, in dem
jeder Asylsuchende willkommen ist. Wir tolerieren keine
rechtspopulistischen Kundgebungen und Veranstaltung mit chauvinistischem
oder rassistischem Hintergrund! Wir wollen den Dialog mit PEGIDA
fördern, um deren Mitstreiter aufzuklären, damit sie erkennen, dass
"unser Abendland" keines Wegs vom Islam bedroht wird und es unsere
Pflicht ist, Menschen in Not zu helfen, denn die Verständigung ist der
beste Weg, das Problem gemeinsam zu lösen. Refugees are welcome here!
Im Augenblick unterstützen diverse Gruppen und Unternehmen "Dresden für
alle", unter anderem: Die TU Dresden und der StuRa der TU, weitere
Hochschulen, die DVB, mehrere Kirchen und Kirchenverbände, das Bündnis
"Dresden Nazifrei"[3], mehrere Parteien, der CSD-Verband und einige
mehr. (Weitere Infos[4])
Der iFSR steht hinter der Arbeit des StuRas und unterstützt auch
weiterhin dessen Aktionen, insbesondere das Engagement Eric Hattkes, dem
Sprecher des StuRas bei "Dresden für alle", der Opfer von Anfeindungen
wurde.
Mit dem neuen Jahr wird die Arbeit fortgesetzt. Für morgen, den 05.01.,
planen verschiedene Gruppen verschiedene Aktionen. So empfehlen wir
17:30 Uhr zum Strassburger Platz zu kommen, um am Dialog, den "Dresden
für alle" mit PEGIDA suchen möchte, teilzunehmen [7].
Um 19:00 Uhr wird von einer Gruppe Namens "Solidarische
Antirassist*innen" eine Kundgebung vor der Centrum-Galerie zu den
Übergriffen nach der letzten Pegida-Demo veranstalten.
Danach um 20 Uhr veranstaltet eine Gruppe Künstler eine symbolische
Aktion am Postplatz. Geplant ist, nach der PEGIDA-Demonstration den
Platz zu fegen, das ganze unter dem Namen "Neujahrsputz"[8].
Übrigens haben wir, falls nun öfter der montagliche Sitzungstermin mit
einer Aktion kollidiert, einen Ausweichtermin (Donnerstag 18:30)
vereinbart, so dass ihr, falls gewünscht, an beidem teilnehmen könnt.
Wenn dann eine Sitzung stattfindet, wird dies rechtzeitig vorher bekannt
gegeben. Die Sitzung diese Woche findet zur gleichen Zeit (18:30 Uhr)
am Donnerstag (08.01.) statt.
Des weiteren trifft sich "Dresden für alle" am 10.01. zu einem
Strukturtreffen im HSZ, zu dem alle herzlich eingeladen sind![5] Hier
habt ihr die Chance, euch stärker einzubringen oder einfach näher über
die Aktivitäten zu informieren.
Hinweis: Im Januar werden drei Solikonzerte[6] am 09.01., 16.01. und
17.01. von "Dresden Nazifrei" organisiert, deren Einnahmen dem Bündnis
zu Gute kommen werden.

Hello students,

TL;DR:

At the last demonstration on 22.12.2014 again 17500 supporters of PEGIDA
took part, more than the week before; 4500 people demonstrated against
it[1].
In cooperation with the StuRa and the association "Dresden für
alle"[2], which was founded in response to the PEGIDA-movement, we want
to speak for an open-minded and tolerating Dresden. We will not tolerate
right-wing populistic demonstrations and chauvinistic or rassistic
activism! Instead, we want to dialogue with PEGIDA to clarify that there
is no concrete islamic threat to our society, as claimed by
PEGIDA-supporters. However, it is our duty to support refugees and
people in need. The iFSR wants to solve the problems by communication
and exchange - refugees are welcome here!
The association "Dresden für alle" (Dresden for everyone) is a coalition
of several Dresden institutions, companies and associations, i.a. the TU
Dresden including the StuRa, several High Schools, the DVB, some
churches and church organizations, the group "Dresden Nazifrei"[3],
somep arties, the CSD-union and more. (see [4] for more information)
The iFSR is supporting the work and actions of the StuRa concerning this
topic, especially the engagement of Eric Hattke, speaker of Dresden für
Alle. He recently was offended and threatened by extremist PEGIDA
supporters. In the new year, we will of course continue our work. On
05.0
1., there will be several actions: At 17:30 on Strassburger Platz,
Dresden für alle offers the dialogue on the topic, we recommend
participation [7].
At 19:00 at the Centrum-Galerie there will be a manifestation
by "Solidarische Antirassist*innen" about the violence after the
last PEGIDA-Demonstation.
At 20:00 at Postplatz, a group of artists is asking for participation on
a symbolic cleaning action of the PEGIDA demonstration ground. [8]
If there is a Dresden für alle action during the iFSR meeting time, there
can be an extra meeting on Thursday 18:30 (like this week!). This way,
you can go on Thursday if you missed the Monday meeting because of
political engagement.
On 10.01, Dresden für alle will hold a structuring meeting in the HSZ,in
order to plan further activism and to occupy positions in the
association. Everyone is sincerely invited to join and to participate. [5]
Also, there will be solo-concerts on 09.01., 16.01. and 17.01; the income
will be redirected to Dresden für Alle. [6]
