Liebe Kommiliton:innen,
das Semester geht nun langsam zu Ende und die Prüfungsphase steht vor
der Tür. Hier sind wieder ein paar Neuigkeiten für euch:
PRÜFUNGSEINSCHREIBUNG
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Vom 14.01.2019 bis 30.01.2019 läuft die Anmeldezeit für schriftliche
Prüfungen. Du musst dich für Prüfungen mit jExam [0] einschreiben. Denke
bitte daran, dich auch für Wiederholungsversuche einzuschreiben.
Abmelden kannst du dich bis 3 Werktage (inklusive Samstag) vor dem
Prüfungsdatum ebenfalls mit jExam. Danach kannst du von der Prüfung nur
auf Antrag an den Prüfungsausschuss zurücktreten.

ERASMUSCAFÉ
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Am Donnerstag, den 17. Januar wird das Erlebnis Auslandsstudium mit
ERASMUS+ in der 6. Doppelstunde in einer Infoveranstaltung im
Fakultäts-Café ASCII vorgestellt.
Als Gäste sind nicht nur der Koordinator der Fakultät (Holger Heidrich)
und die Ansprechpartnerin des Akademischen Auslandsamts (Kerstin Unger)
geladen. Auch verschiedene „ERASMUS-Alumni“ bereichern die Runde mit
praktischen Erfahrungen und persönlichem Wissen zur Organisation,
Finanzierung und landestypischer Kultur aus erster Hand.
In entspannter Atmosphäre werden die einzelnen Länder und Unis
vorgestellt und die Fragen aller interessierten Studierenden
beantwortet. Wir freuen uns auf zahlreiche interessierte Gäste und einen
informativen Austausch.

SCHREIBCAFÉ + LATEX-SPRECHSTUNDE
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
+++ Auf Grund der Info-Veranstaltung zu ERASMUS+ findet das Schreibcafé
am 17. Januar ausnahmsweise im Raum APB/E007 statt. +++
Schreibarbeit? Schreibcafé! Auch am Donnerstag, den 17. Januar findet
von 17:00 - 19:00 Uhr das Schreibcafé sowie die LaTeX-Sprechstunde statt.
Egal ob es nur ein kleines Paper fürs Seminar oder die Abschlussarbeit
ist – das Schreibcafé ist ein super Ort, um dran zu arbeiten! Mach es
dir gemütlich, um einfach in entspannter Atmosphäre zu schreiben oder
hol dir Unterstützung, Anregungen oder Feedback bei einem der
Schreibtutoren des Schreibzentrums, die euch mit Rat und Tat zur Seite
stehen und Schreibberatungen anbieten.

SPIELEABEND

Bevor jetzt alle in die stressige Prüfungsphase starten, laden wir euch
herzlich zum letzten Spieleabend des Wintersemesters am 24.01. ein. Wir
wollen euch die Möglichkeit bieten, bei Spielen und Snacks das Semester
gemütlich ausklingen zu lassen. Los geht es wie immer um 18:30 Uhr im
Foyer der Fakultät Informatik. Kommt zahlreich vorbei und bringt eure
Freunde mit!

Dear fellow students,
The semester comes to an end and the examination period is just around
the corner. Here are the latest news for you:
ENROLLMENT FOR EXAMS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
During the period from 14th to 30th January 2019 you can enrol for
written exams with jExam [0]. Please remember that you have to enrol for
retries as well. You can sign out from an exam up until 3 work days
(including Saturday) before the exam date with jExam. After that, you
can only withdraw from an exam upon request to the examination office.

ERASMUS CAFÉ
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
On Thursday, 17th January, the ERASMUS experience is introduced in the
6th double hour during an info event in the faculty café ASCII.
Not only the coordinator of the faculty (Holger Heidrich) and the
contact person of the International Office (Kerstin Unger) are invited
as guests. Also various "ERASMUS Alumni" will enrich the round with
hands-on experience and personal knowledge of organization, financing
and local culture straight from the horse's mouth.
In a relaxed atmosphere, the individual countries and universities are
presented and the questions of all interested students answered. We look
forward to many interested guests and an informative exchange.

WRITING COUNSELLING + LATEX CONSULTATION HOUR
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
+++ Due to the information event about ERASMUS+ the Writing Counselling
will take place on 17th January at room APB/E007 +++
Paperwork? Writing Counselling! The Writing Counselling and the LaTeX
consultation will also take place on Thursday, 17th January, from 17:00
to 19:00.
No matter if it's just a small paper for the seminar or the final thesis
- the Writing Counselling is a great place to work on it! Make yourself
comfortable, just write in a relaxed atmosphere or get support,
suggestions or feedback from one of the writers of the writing center,
who will help you with words and deeds and offer writing advice.

GAMES NIGHT
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before everyone starts the stressful exam phase, we would like to invite
you to our last game night of the winter term on 24th January. We offer
you the opportunity to comfortably end the semester with games and
snacks. As always, it starts at 18:30 in the foyer of the Faculty of
Computer Science. Come over and bring your friends with you!
