Hallo liebe Studis,
wie ihr dem Betreff schon entnehmen konntet, benötigen wir vom Fachschaftsrat dringend eure Unterstützung! Wir haben sowohl viele ehrenamtliche Aufgaben, die an unserer Fakultät extrem wichtig sind, als auch erstmalig zwei bezahlte SHK-Stellen zu vergeben, die wir gerne noch im Laufe des Monats besetzen möchten.
Am Montag, den 27.06.2022 ab 18:45 Uhr vor dem APB, bieten wir eine Schnuppersitzung an, in der wir mit euch ins Gespräch kommen und euch unsere ehrenamtliche Arbeit vorstellen möchten. Wir bitten euch eindringlich vorbeizukommen, denn wir benötigen dringend neue Engagierte. In der aktuellen Legislaturperiode haben bei insgesamt 19 Plätzen gerade einmal 15 Personen für den Fachschaftsrat (FSR) kandidiert, viele davon ganz neu im Studium. Der Fachschaftsrat organisiert nicht nur die Veranstaltungen, die wir immer bewerben, sondern kümmert sich auch darum, dass die Lehre an unserer Fakultät verbessert wird und Prozesse für die Studierenden so angenehm und reibungslos wie möglich ablaufen. Außerdem unterstützen wir euch als Studis auf Augenhöhe, wenn ihr Stress mit dem Prüfungsamt oder in einer Lehrveranstaltung habt. Dieses Angebot wird von euch auch rege genutzt, und wir haben nicht nur in den letzten beiden Semestern einige Verbesserungen für euch erzielt, sondern über Jahre hinweg kontinuierlich für euch gearbeitet. Außerdem organisieren wir eigenverantwortlich die Erstsemstereinführung, bei der wir in jedem Wintersemester über 250 neue Studierende an der Fakultät begrüßen dürfen. Damit dieses Angebot in Zukunft weiter bestehen kann, müssen sich unbedingt Menschen bereiterklären, uns zu unterstützen - keine Sorge, ihr seid nicht alleine und wir zeigen und erklären euch dann alles, was ihr wissen müsst. Jede Unterstützung hilft - auch wenn ihr z.B. nur etwa zwei Stunden pro Monat einen Prüfungsausschuss besuchen möchtet, auch ohne direkt gewähltes Mitglied im Fachschaftsrat zu sein.
Ganz wichtig: Bei der Schnuppersitzung müsst ihr euch nicht festlegen! Ihr könnt gerne ganz unverbindlich vorbeikommen und mit uns sprechen. Wir stellen auch für euch kostenlos Pizza bereit, um die Atmosphäre etwas aufzulockern - und wenn die Sterne gut stehen beehren uns "MC KC feat. Strukturensohn" mit einem musikalischen Beitrag.
Wenn ihr persönliche Unterstützung für die Teilnahme benötigt oder dieses Format für euch mit Hindernissen oder (auch, aber nicht nur sozialen) Barrieren verbunden ist, kontaktiert uns gerne unter fsr(a)ifsr.de und wir helfen so gut es geht.
Wie bereits erwähnt haben wir als FSR Informatik zwei SHK-Stellen zu besetzen, die bei der Aufbereitung von Materialien für neue Studierende unterstützen sollen. Beide Stellen sind im Umfang von jeweils 8h/Woche von Juli bis September 2022, vergütet mit 10,63€ pro Stunde. Die Zeit könnt ihr euch wöchentlich frei einteilen. Die Aufgaben für beide Stellen sind folgende:
1. PO/SO
• Übersetzung der Studien- und Prüfungsordnungen der deutschsprachigen Studiengänge unserer Fakultät ins Englische
• InDesign-Vorlagen sollen in LaTeX-Code überführt werden
• Bereitstellen der Dokumente als Ebook
• Erstellen eines Study Buddy für mobile Endgeräte
2. Manual
• Unser ESE-Manual auf Englisch übersetzen bzw. dessen Übersetzung erneuen/überarbeiten
• Bereitstellung des Manuals als Ebook bzw. als Website-fähiger Inhalt
• Verbesserungen für [internationale] Masterstudierende konzipieren und einarbeiten
• Zukünftige Anpassbarkeit sicherstellen
Wenn ihr interessiert an einer der Stellen seid oder noch Fragen habt, sprecht uns gerne informell an! Vorkenntnisse benötigt ihr, bis auf die Englische Sprache, keine, aber falls ihr schon LaTeX beherrscht, wäre das super! Durch die Arbeit lernt ihr viel über euren Studiengang und könnt euch so, wen n ihr möchtet, für die Stelle als studentische:r Studienberater:in qualifizieren.
Mit ihrem Umfang von 8h/Woche passen die Stellen übrigens perfekt für diejenigen unter euch, die BAföG beziehen oder auf der Suche nach einem Nebenjob sind - ihr fallt damit nämlich gerade so noch in die Minijob-Regelung und müsst euch ggf. nicht selbst krankenversichern oder Rentenversicherungsbeiträge zahlen! Hello dear students,
we from the Student Council of Computer Science urgently need your support! We have many voluntary tasks which are extremely important at our faculty, as well as - for the very first time - two paid SHK positions to fill, which we would like to hire until the end of this month.
On Monday, June 27th, starting at 6:45pm in front of Andreas-Pfitzmann-Bau, we will be offering a trial session to talk with you and introduce you to our volunteer work. We urge you to come along as we are in desperate need of new people. In the current legislative period, with a total of 19 seats, just 15 people have run for the Student Council (FSR), many of them brand new to the university. The Student Council not only organizes the events that we always promote, but also takes care that the teaching at our faculty is improved and that processes run as pleasantly and smoothly as possible for the students. In addition, we support you as students at eye level if you have problems with the examination office or in a course. This offer is actively used by you, and we have achieved quite a few improvements for you over the last couple of years. We are also responsible for organizing the first-semester introduction week ESE, where we welcome more than 250 new students to the faculty every winter semester. In order for this to continue in the future, it is imperative that more people join us - don't worry, you will not be alone and we will explain everything you need to know.
Very important: You don't have to commit yourself at the trial session! You are welcome to come by and talk to us without any obligation. We will also provide you with free pizza to lighten the atmosphere a bit - and if the stars align, "MC KC feat. Strukturensohn" will honor us with a musical contribution.
If you need personal support for participation or if this format is associated with obstacles or barriers (including, but not limited to social barriers) for you, feel free to contact us at fsr(a)ifsr.de and we will help as much as we can. Unfortunately, this will be held primarily in German, but we'll try to have another exclusively English event later this semester.
As mentioned earlier, we as the FSR Computer Science have two SHK positions to fill to assist in preparing materials for new students. Both positions are 8h/week from July to September 2022, remunerated at 10,63€ per hour. You are free to allocate your time on a weekly basis. The tasks for both positions are as follows:
1. PO/SO
• Translation of the study and examination regulations of the German-language study programs of our faculty into English.
• InDesign templates are to be converted into LaTeX code
• Providing the documents as Ebook
• Creation of a Studdy Buddy for mobile devices
2. Manual
• Translate our ESE Manual into English or renew/revise its translation
• Make the manual available as an ebook or as website-ready content
• Design and incorporate improvements for [international] masters students
• Ensure future adaptability

You don't need any previous knowledge except proficiency in the German language. If you already know LaTeX, that would be great!
With a workload of 8 hours per week, these positions are perfect for those of you who receive BAföG or don't have a part-time job yet. The mini-job regulations will apply and you may not have to pay health insurance or pension contributions yourself! We will gladly explain more details on request. For international students, we unfortunately cannot help with rules regarding work permits or taxation.
